About Martha Witte

Martha Witte Suss lives in the Historic District of Easton, MD, with her husband Fred and their gorgeous Boxer, Otis. She has two grown children, Quintus and Oliva, and two precious grandchildren, Stella and Vincent—all of whom live nearby. Martha has been actively selling real estate for over 25 years and has a deep passion for the industry, the Chesapeake Bay area, and the people she serves. She believes that excellent customer service is the key to any successful professional—and nowhere is that more important than in the real estate industry. With a diverse background in real estate development, building, general brokerage, and corporate real estate management, Martha has recently embarked on a new endeavor: assisting her partners in opening a satellite office of Coldwell Banker Realty in the sublime and idyllic hamlet of Oxford, MD. (The main office is Coldwell Banker Realty Annapolis Church Circle in Annapolis, MD.) Martha is also an active volunteer and adolescent mentor, both locally and overseas. She is passionate about environmental issues and considers herself an advocate for the Chesapeake Bay. A lifelong learner—who often quotes, “My tombstone will be my diploma”—Martha’s formal education includes Holton-Arms School, North Hagerstown High School, Hagerstown Community College, Washington Business School, Anne Arundel Community College, Long & Foster Real Estate Academy, the Maryland Leadership Academy, and ongoing continuing education. An animal lover, Martha is often seen running outdoors with Otis. She is an avid kayaking enthusiast, loves to sail, and enjoys getting out on the Chesapeake Bay. Maryland and the Bay have always been her home, but she also loves to travel—because, as J.R.R. Tolkien once wrote, “Not all those who wander are lost.”
