About Kent

My Story Residential Real Estate has been an interest of mine from the time I was a little boy. My Grandfather was a builder and cabinetmaker. He taught me how to build and repair almost anything. My parents always bought homes that were a good value but needed improvement. With my Grandfather’s help, my Father and Brothers renovated, and built several of homes we lived in including a summer home in York Beach Maine. I have always been interested in Architecture, Interior Design and Landscape Design. I opened my first business Kent Newton Salon ten years ago. I designed the interior and even did some of the construction. My love of Real Estate has continued through several more renovation projects my partner and I have completed. Even though I have spent the last 24 years in the Beauty Industry, I feel there is a strong correlation between the architecture and design of hairstyles and homes. I know my strong design esthetic and construction background can translate to uncovering a home’s true potential. I find that not that many people have “House Ray Vision”- The ability to see through a home’s contents and layout to its underlying potential.
