About Monica

Raised in Lafayette, Monica attended Our Lady of Fatima, Cathedral Carmel High School and USL, now the University of Louisiana Lafayette. She began her professional career as a partner in an oilfield fabrication company where she began as office manager then moved into sales. After realizing her interest for outside sales, she later joined a local home security company where she learned a vast amount of knowledge of new construction and remodels. In 2012, Monica joined Coldwell Pelican where she is extremely proud, and grateful, to say she received the best real estate training and education from some of the most exceptional agents in the business. In 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 Monica received various honors of recognition in real estate, including The Multi-Million Dollar Club to The Silver Award. She has also been a rotary member with Lafayette Rotary South for several years where she was recognized for perfect attendance during 2015-2016 and received The Rotarian of the Year Award. Monica’s passion for real estate goes back to her parents’ work in real estate rental properties and new construction. She has a great understanding for the real-estate world and hears her clients desires in their new property search, the selling of their home, and is enthusiastic about the negotiation process. When not engaged in work, she enjoys spending time with her companion, Richard, family, and friends and loves the serenity of the beach, the mountains and any place where there is beautiful water! Monica is truly a professional in the field and sincerely cares about her clients- she doesn’t meet a stranger and treats every client like family!
