About Melissa

Born and raised in Lafayette, Melissa and is a graduate of the University of Louisiana Lafayette, formerly USL. After raising her three sons, she attended the Burk Baker School of Real Estate and became a licensed Louisiana agent specializing in Residential Real Estate. She began her career working as an agent for the brokerage firm of Van Eaton and Romero where she received multiple recognitions for Closed Volume, Silver Status in 2009, 2013, 2014 and Bronze Status in 2011, 2012 and 2015. In November of 2016 Melissa joined Trahan Real Estate Group who recently added a residential division to their existing Commercial Real Estate, Property Management and Development company. Melissa is compassionate and hard working with a keen eye for detail. She prides herself in listening to the needs of her clients and paying special attention to the transaction from the beginning to the very end. Her exceptional negotiating skills and dedication to customer satisfaction has helped her to build successful business relationships with many developing into close personal friendships. Melissa is married to Jimmy White, Sr. She has three sons Jimmy, Jesse, and Jeremy. When she is not working she enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her 4 beautiful grandchildren
