About Scott

Scott Kimmich has enjoyed a rewarding career as a real estate professional in addition to his career as a government official, public policy consultant, and community leader. Scott's unique blend of life experience enables him to stand for his real estate clients in a manner designed to maximize their return on investment while protecting their interests. Scott began real estate career in 1995, and has sold residential, agricultural and overseen commercial development deals throughout the Northern Kentucky region. His life experience has afforded him the unique opportunity to engage in planning and zoning issues from both the regulatory perspective and as a consumer advocate. Scott is a member of the Northern KY Association of Realtors, Kentucky Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors. Recognized as an individual committed to the highest levels of enthusiasm for his work, ethics, and integrity, Scott has served as Deputy Judge/Executive in three counties in the administrations of 5 Judges-Executive. Scott has long advocated for applying sound business principles to running government to ensure greater efficiency and lower costs. Scott was elected by his peers as Vice-President of the County Executives of America and appointed Vice-Chair of the Justice and Public Safety Steering Committee of the National Association of Counties. Scott has been honored to serve in positions of public trust for 5 Governors of both political parties. During his tenure, Scott oversaw the investment of more than $250 million in job creation, housing construction and infrastructure development across the Commonwealth. Scott served on the KY Charitable Gaming Advisory Commission, where he served two years as Chairperson; the Sub Committee on Sentencing of the KY Criminal Justice Council and on the Transition Team for Governor Matt Bevin. Most recently, before pursuing real estate as a full-time venture in March of 2024, Scott served six years Deputy Chief of Staff for six years to the Kentucky House Speaker. Scott is Kenton County's representative to the Northern KY Independent District Health Board and currently serves as Chairperson. Scott has served on the Kenton County Board of Elections for 11 years. Scott is married to Jean Scheben Kimmich. Scott and Jean are the parents of two adult daughters and proud grandparents of 4 grandchildren.
