About Ellen

Hello, I am Ellen Shelton. Even though I am a resident of Henry County, Richmond is like my second hometown. As a child my father pastored churches all over Wayne County, I graduated from IU East, and have spent many hours when I was little at the zoo in Glen Miller Park. I love the culture of Richmond, and I especially like the citizens. Richmond has so much to offer families with the arts scene, theater, music, family events, nature trails, job opportunities, and where else can you find a town of this size with so many colleges? Speaking of colleges, I am also an adjunct professor at IU East, a limited term lecturer at Purdue Polytechnic, and part time faculty at Eastern Kentucky University. My ties to Richmond are strong, and my plans are to move here in the near future. Anyone know where I can find a realtor to show me a house? Ha! Real estate is more than an occupation, but it is a tie that you make with an individual, or family, and you want that tie to show honesty and respect for your client.
