About Michelle Pond Michelle Pond has lived in the suburbs of Chicago her whole life, from Maywood to Bartlett IL, the later for the last 28 years. I Come form a large family having and architectural and interior design background and have grown to love the Real Estate world. My goals as an agent is to help people find a place to call home. Whether working with first time home buyers in helping to educate them as to the process of buying a home to people relocating, upgrading,or downsizing in making them feel comfortable in their move brings an excitement to me in helping find homes for my clients to enjoy. Traveling is a passion of mine although in this business I do not always have the time to go to all the places I would love to go. I love hiking from the mountains in Montana to the beaches of North Carolina. Fishing from the deep seas to the Great Lakes. Golf although have not come close to mastering chasing that little ball. Socializing and entertaining with old friends and meeting new people is always on my to do list. Business Philosophy Michelle Pond 's philosophy is that while this is a business for her it is not for her clients. Spending time with them getting to know them to help them find a home they will be comfortable in a priority. She do not believe in the statement that," I am helping to buy or sell houses". She likes to look at her clients as buying and selling a "home". Getting to know her clients better so she can help in that is very important to her. Community Involvement Michelle Pond over the years has worn many hats. From team mom when her 3 kids were growing up involved in sports. Volunteering for 7 years at the school library and tutoring center where they attended school, along with volunteering as a teacher aide for those years. She also volunteered for many years at church functions including food basket programs to help feed the poor. Michelle Pond was a registered Cub Scout leader for 3 years, Pack leader for 2 years, Weeblos leader for 2 years, Boy Scout volunteer for 5 years. Helping her son and his scouting buddies obtain their Eagle Scout Awards. Michelle Pond was also a Girl Scout Daisy leader for 1 year, a Brownie leader for 3 years, and a Girl Scout Leader for 5 years. Michelle Pond now serves on the Ed Posh Scholarship Fund Board helping to raise funds for local young men and women to attend college. Doing something for the Community is in the best interest of all!!
