Natalie Carpenter District Vice President, South Region COLDWELL BANKER REALTY Natalie Carpenter has enjoyed an illustrious career in real estate that has spanned over three decades and various sales, management and executive positions. She began as a very successful realtor/salesperson in Chicago, went on to become a broker/manager, and was a branch leader in Hyde Park where she remained for many years. Natalie won numerous sales awards for her outstanding performance both as a salesperson and a branch leader, including the President's Circle and Chairman's Circle Office Awards. She was also honored with the prestigious Phenomenal Woman Award from the Expo for Today's Black Woman, and was the first African-American woman to have ever won the Managing Broker of the Year Award (in 2020) from the Chicago Association of Realtors. Her skills and talents led to her current position as District Vice President of the entire southern area of Wisconsin, and then as the District Vice President of the South and Michiana regions for Coldwell Banker. In this high-profile role, Natalie is tasked with "leading the leaders" so they can effectively run their branch offices in alignment with the company's values and vision. She bridges the connection between branch and executive leadership, helps streamline communications and operations, and serves as a coach and counselor so branch leaders can meet their goals. Natalie considers one of her most notable achievements as "being able to retain good and productive agents during the worst time in recent real estate history through building an awesome culture, thinking outside the box, and being bold enough to meet challenges head-on by developing strategies to out-perform the competition, and ultimately eliminate them." She is an invaluable resource and motivator who excels at the arts of conflict resolution, thought leadership, and spearheading plans for positive solutions. A Chicago, Illinois native, Natalie attended Northern Illinois University and Columbia College in Chicago. She received a BA in Communications degree, and initially worked as a credit, collections and customer service manager. In her tenure in real estate, Natalie has earned such distinguishing designations as Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified Neighborhood Specialist (CNS), and, e-PRO certification. She loves her work but believes in God first; family second; and everything else after that. Flipping houses is her favorite pastime. Plus Natalie enjoys attending musical concerts, dancing, and visiting different restaurants in her free time.
