About Tracey

Bringing over three decades of dedicated leadership to the real estate industry, Tracey Royal serves as the Vice President of Agent Development for the Chicago City Region at Coldwell Banker Realty, where she empowers real estate professionals—from new licensees to seasoned top producers—to build profitable, ethical, and sustainable businesses. Recognized among the top 1% of branch leaders nationwide, Tracey was most recently honored with the prestigious 2024 Coldwell Banker Realty President’s Council award, a distinction reserved for the company’s highest-performing leaders. Known for her high-energy leadership, business coaching expertise, and deep commitment to agent growth, Tracey is a proven driver of performance and innovation across diverse markets. Her influence extends well beyond her corporate role. Tracey has held leadership positions with the Chicago Association of Realtors®, Illinois Realtors®, and the National Association of Realtors®, and has served as a three-time past president of both the Women’s Council of Realtors® Chicago and Illinois networks, as well as the Oak Park Regional Housing Center. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Cook County Land Bank Authority and is a former National Executive Committee member of the Women’s Council of Realtors®. An unwavering advocate for homeownership and the real estate profession, Tracey is a Major Investor in RPAC and served as Federal Political Coordinator for Congressman Danny Davis in Illinois’ 7th Congressional District, where she worked to influence policies that protect property rights and promote housing accessibility. Her outstanding contributions have earned her numerous accolades over the years, including the 2024 Coldwell Banker Realty President’s Council, 2022 Chicago Association of Realtors® Industry Partner Member Award, 2021 Women’s Council of Realtors® Chicago Member of the Year, 2020 Illinois Realtors® Presidential Medallion and President’s Award, 2019 Chicago Association of Realtors® Realtor Achievement Award, and the 2018 Dearborn Realtist Board Realtist of the Year. Tracey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management and a Master of Science in Criminal Social Justice, and is a graduate of several prestigious leadership programs, including the 2022 NAR Leadership Academy, 2019 Women’s Council Leadership Institute, and 2018 Illinois Realtors® Leadership Academy. As a passionate educator, Tracey serves as a national instructor for the National Association of Realtors®, teaching the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation course. She also teaches several professional development courses for the Chicago Association of Realtors®, including the Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), and Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) certifications. In addition, she is a lead instructor for the Oak Park Regional Housing Center’s West Cook Homeownership Program, helping first-time buyers gain the tools and knowledge to successfully navigate their path to homeownership.
