About Kayla

Kayla Gelsomino takes great pride in offering her clients impeccable service. Whether buying or selling, Kayla guides her clients through the real estate process, advising them on the decisions and negotiating for their best interest. Having owned her own interior design firm for over 15 years and staging many model homes, Kayla offers her sellers the unique ability to stage a home so that it showcases its best features and offers her buyers a design eye to help them envision a potential space. Additionally, Kayla has a intimate knowledge of the various neighborhoods that make the city so special. After graduating from Centenary College in Louisiana, Kayla began her career with the Boy Scouts of America and was appointed the first female district executive of scouting. Kayla currently lives in the Gold Coast. She is active in the community, volunteering in after-school programs for children with special needs and with the Elmhurst Food Pantry. In her free time, she enjoys running marathons, skiing, and playing tennis.
