Meet Jim Waller: A true believer in the lifestyle of living in the Champaign-Urbana area.I am a native of the Champaign-Urbana area and I specialize in the sale of new and existing homes in Champaign, Urbana, St. Joseph, Mahomet, Tolono, Monticello, Rantoul and other small towns in our area. I have been licensed since 1984 and I have been able to help over 1,000 people buy or sell a home in that time. My love of sales/service started in 1976 when I was hired by Nobel's Shoes at Market Place Mall. It helped to teach me about working for my customers and being able to find ways to satisfy their shoe needs. This experience was a great transition to what I do with all of my buyers and sellers today.Today I tell my clients that “they are in charge of making the decisions and I'll help them with the process.” The buying and selling of a home can be filled with many unexpected detours throughout the process. I believe my learned experiences help me to work on behalf of my clients better. Whether your negotiating the sales contract or negotiating repairs after the home inspection. I'm able to look at the big picture and guide you through the maze of “Real Estate.”My focus is not only giving back to my clients, but I like to give back to the industry that has given me so much. In 2016-2017 I was President of the Champaign County Association of Realtors and prior to that I had served on several of the committees that help in the running of the Association. In my personal life I have been involved in St. John's Lutheran church as both an elder and a school board member.
