About Jeff

My wife and I, and our 6 children began homesteading here about 10 years ago when we moved to beautiful Northern Idaho. Before moving to Idaho, we served as missionaries in remote Alaska in a tiny island community where we built and established a kids camp. My experiences in remote and off-grid living allow me to understand and assist with the needs of those who would want to move out into the wide-open beauty of Northern Idaho. I started my career as a wildlife biologist in Georgia where I spent 22 years on the rivers and ocean and in the forests of the deep south. Even as a youngster I dreamed of living in a frontier location thick with wildlife, amazing mountain peaks, scenic rivers, great communities and wonderful people. I still continue to follow my dream as I help others follow theirs.
