About Nicole

Nicole “Nickel” Nimmons is a dynamic community leader entering her “Nickel Era” — a bold reinvention that blends executive experience, entrepreneurial vision, and a deep commitment to Idaho’s future. After a 20-year career at Boise State University, where she served as Associate Vice President overseeing campus services, retail operations, property leasing, events, and large-scale community partnerships, Nicole transitioned into real estate with Coldwell Banker, bringing strategic negotiation skills, financial acumen, and relationship-driven leadership to the Treasure Valley housing market. Known for leading with heart, integrity, and high standards, she is passionate about building strong communities, supporting women-led philanthropy, and creating opportunities that elevate families across generations. Nicole believes leadership is about courage, collaboration, and leaving people — and places — better than you found them. A Southern California native, Nicole earned her Criminal Justice degree from Northern Arizona University and later her MBA from Boise State University. She and her husband lead a lively blended family with two adult children, one teenager, and two beloved dogs. Outside of work, you’ll find her camping, overlanding, kayaking Idaho waterways, cheering on women’s volleyball, tackling home improvement projects, thrifting for hidden gems, and proudly living out her lifelong passion for finding smart ways to save money. Nicole brings that same adventurous spirit, practicality, and joy for life into her leadership and service to the Boise community.
