About Candace Y.

Candace Y. Yap first obtained her real estate license in 2001 and subsequently pursued her broker's license in 2006. She made newcomer of the year in 2002 doing real estate at Coldwell Banker and became one of the leads on the military sales team. In addition, she was on the Moana Pacific Project Sales Team. She also volunteers as a teacher for first time home buyers at the Hawaii Home Ownership Center. She loves helping her clients reach their financial goals towards retirement by building equity while living in their home and purchasing investment properties. Blessed to be a native born and raised in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii, she was a legal secretary before launching her real estate career. In that role, she learned to deal with timelines and deadlines, in addition to time management skills and the value of being prepared and working ahead. Because she loves working with people, she also worked in retail sales and customer service roles that brought her in contact with a wide variety of people, honing her sales abilities and ease in making connections while creating solutions to people's needs.
