About Anita

As a diplomat’s daughter, Anita had lived in three continents and spoken three languages by age five. She speaks English, Korean and Spanish presently. Her experience of living abroad has taught her to understand different cultures and has given her a sense of hospitality. Anita attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia and received a BS in Pharmacy at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. She worked as a registered pharmacist in Chicago, Illinois and Charlottesville, Virginia. Upon moving to Hawaii in 2004, she opened up a small business called Mama’nita Scones LLC. Her products have been in Whole Foods Market, Nordstrom e-bar, Kalapawai Cafe and Market, as well as other popular Honolulu coffee shops. In 2018, her products were voted “best scones in Honolulu” in HONOLULU MAGAZINE. Running a small business taught her valuable skills in marketing, customer and employee management. As a real estate agent, Anita enjoys applying her professionalism and “people skills” she acquired throughout her life while guiding clients to achieve their home ownership goals.
