About Ed

Ed O’Neal, ABR, specializes in Lake Oconee Lake and Golf community homes and Greene and Putnam County farms and land, and is based in the Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty office on Linger Longer Road. A lifetime Georgian, Ed has been a realtor since 2000, and a resident of the Lake Oconee area for twenty years. In addition to assisting clients with selling and buying prestige properties, he is a career Certified Public Accountant (BBA, Augusta University), with extensive experience in real estate financing, taxation (including IRC 1031 tax-free exchanges), rental property investments, and substantiating and tax reporting of farming operations. As an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Ed has located and negotiated the purchase of many client’s dream homes, as well as one-of-a-kind land tracts for timber, wildlife, horses and other farming activities, as well as for investments and residential development. Ed is a long-time Rotarian in Georgia. He serves as the treasurer of the Greene and Putnam County Rotary Club, and is also the current treasurer of the Lake Country Board of Realtors.
