About Scott

Scott has over 30 years of experience in Real Estate, specializing in residential, land, investment, short sales, and foreclosures. He is a member of the Local, State, and National Association of REALTORS®, a Certified Distressed Property Expert, and the recipient of numerous recognitions and awards for his outstanding sales portfolio. Scott graduated from the University of Georgia as a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity, where he played in the UGA Redcoat Drumline. When he isn’t helping clients meet their Real Estate goals, he enjoys boating, travel, music, and camping. He’s also an active community member, volunteering at different organizations around Athens. Licensed REALTOR® Assistant Tauna Ruiz joined The Nichols Team in 2017. She’s worked in Real Estate since 2013 and enjoys the task-juggling and multi-tasking that comes with working behind scenes, helping to create success for her colleagues and clients. Apart from her work, Tauna also enjoys hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, working in her yard, reading, and, above all, spending time with her family.
