About Erika

Erika Murphy joined Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty in the fall of 2024, bringing a decade of dedicated service as a Sheriff's Deputy and SVU Investigator with the Clarke County Sheriff's Office and the Western Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office. After retiring from law enforcement, Erika transitioned to real estate, combining her strong background in public service with her passion for helping others. She earned her real estate license in 2020 through the Upchurch School of Real Estate and is actively pursuing her Broker’s License. Additionally, she is certified in VA loans, offering specialized expertise to support veterans in achieving their homeownership goals. Erika is not only committed to her clients but also deeply rooted in her community. She enjoys quality time with her husband, their daughter and three sons, and their beloved doodles. Public service runs in the family—her husband is a US Marine Corps Veteran and serves as an Oconee County Sheriff's Deputy, and her sons are actively involved with the Oconee County Fire Rescue Explorers Program. Erika is an avid traveler, a former competitive pool player, and a dedicated volunteer for local initiatives such as Meals on Wheels. Her influence extends to civic development, including her pivotal role in designing the new Athens-Clarke County Jail. Erika is highly regarded for her expertise in marketing, responsiveness, and negotiation. She excels in representing both buyers and sellers, delivering seamless and personalized experience for every client. Fluent in Spanish, Erika is especially proud to provide tailored services to Spanish-speaking clients.
