About Debra

Debra Casto began her real estate career in June of 2023, following over 30 years in retail service. During her tenure, Debra served in retail management and worked to hone her customer service and communication skills. In addition to being an alumnus of the Upchurch School of Real Estate and a licensed REALTOR®, Debra received a degree in Marketing from the University of Alabama.            Although originally from Orange Beach, Alabama, Debra currently resides with her family in Statham, GA. She loves being in Georgia because there are so many outdoor activities you can enjoy here. There is never a shortage of surrounding lakes, and nothing compares to the beauty of the North Georgia mountains! In her free time, Debra enjoys attending classes at Pure Barre, and considers herself to be a fitness enthusiast. She is a mother, wife, and an active member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church in Bogart.            Many members of Debra’s family own and manage multiple residential and commercial properties. Through their transactions, she has come to understand the value and satisfaction that homeownership can bring. She believes that owning a home in the Athens area means getting the best of both worlds; a small town feel with big city amenities and culture!  Debra aims to assist her clients with excellent customer service and open communication. Her goal is to provide clients with an enjoyable and specialized home-buying experience because there is no more special place than where you call home.
