The six-day extravaganza continues on Tuesday with "Bricks Flicks," a family-oriented party at the nostalgic US-23 Drive-In theatre on Fenton Road. During the main event week, excited crowds line the streets for the "Rolling Cruises" as the parade route stretches from the "red bricks" of Saginaw Street in downtown Flint to the city of Grand Blanc. On Friday, there will be a car show, concert, and dance party with a Motown theme. Thousands will stroll the brick streets on Saturday to admire vehicles of every age and description, take pictures, buy souvenirs, and enjoy the fun. Daily Mon-Sat from 10a-5p & Sundays from noon-5p Flint Area Weekend Events - Robot Zoo Exhibit Courtland Center (4190 E Court St, Burton, MI 48509, 810-237-3450, SloanMuseum.org) 5,000 square foot exhibit that uses biomechanics of complex animal robots to demonstrate how real animals work. The larger-than-life-size animated robots include a chameleon, a rhinoceros, a giant squid with 18-foot tentacles, and a platypus. Also featured are a house fly with a 10-foot wingspread, a grasshopper, a bat, and a giraffe. Animation in the robots imitates real-life behaviors. Open through September 8. less
