About Karen

CARING Originally from Belpre, Ohio, Karen is one of six children, with a twin sister, Kathy, who lives in Thailand (and serves at an Orphanage and rescues children from human trafficking). Karen learned early in her life that honesty, caring and commitment were the basis for good relationships and has incorporated that philosophy into her professional life today. Actively involved in her community since the age of three, when she and her mother and twin visited hospitals to cheer elderly patients, Karen's altruistic nature led her to pursue a degree in Psychology and Karen graduated with honors from Liberty University before marrying her husband, Tom, in 1981. It wasn't until their relocation to Florida in 1988, that Karen decided to change careers and pursue a life-long passion for real estate. KNOWLEDGEABLE As an overachiever all of her life, Karen joined Arvida Corporation as Executive Secretary to the Vice-President and she rapidly progressed to a high profile management position. Karen's comprehensive knowledge of construction, project management, and customer service, along with strong communication, motivational and leadership abilities, made her an ideal choice for Property Manager at Weston's premier neighborhoods. During her tenure, Karen developed the first homeowner orientation presentations, developed community programs and planned and coordinated special events that have since become annual favorites for Weston residents. This well-rounded experience has made her an exceptional realtor who understands all aspects of real estate from building, developing, and resales.
