I have been a Florida Realtor since 2005 and I love it. I also have a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, which I received in 2009 from Florida International University. Although I no longer work in the mental health field, my experience as a counselor gave me valuable skills that I use in my real estate practice today. I have been told that what makes me an effective realtor is my ability to listen to my clients and to understand what they genuinely want in their new home. There's true beauty in finding a diamond in the rough and making it shine. The same can be said when looking for the perfect home. I help my clients see beyond the surface to what could be once they make that home theirs. Along with being a realtor, I am a wife, a mom of two beautiful girls and a Fixer Upper addict. I love family time, crafting, DIY projects and home décor. When I am not out showing properties or in the office, you can find me spending time with my family, watching HGTV or doing a DIY home improvement project. In my time as a Realtor, I have seen the Florida real estate market rise to its prime, drop down low and climb its way back up. Through it all, I have also seen the resilience of this beautiful state and its people. South Florida is an amazing place to live and work; from the beautiful weather and sandy beaches to the magnificent city skylines and culture, South Florida has it all! I am proud to call myself a Floridian and nothing brings me more pleasure than helping a person or family find the perfect home.
