Designed in 1956 for artist Karl Zerbe, this 3-bedroom 2-bathroom authentic post-and-beam mid-century modern home has been carefully restored with an emphasis on preservation rather than reinvention. Set beneath mature live oaks on nearly an acre, the house retains its original structure,tongue-and-groove ceilings, scored concrete floors, Ocala brick, walls of glass, wood built-ins, and many original fixtures. At the same time, major systems including roofing, HVAC, electrical, drainage,and water heating have been thoughtfully updated. A rare and remarkably intact example of Tallahassee modernism.
