About Heidi

"Heidi Makes It Happen!" Although I am originally from Cincinnati, OH, I have lived on the beautiful Emerald Coast for over 16 years. It is here where I met my husband (who is now Retired Air Force) and started my family (2 boys, now ages 9 & 11). It is because of these guys that I do what I do today. My husband traveled often and at one time was overseas 9 months out of the year for about 3 years. I decided to resign from a management position to stay home and be a constant presence for my children. However, it's not in my DNA to "just not do something." I obtained my real estate license in February, 2011 & the rest is history! Before moving to the area, I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Communication, which has given me the ability to be able to work with a multitude and people and personalities, allowing for successful negotiations in any situation. I didn't just let my education stop there. I have taken extensive courses to earn the following designations: GRI (Graduation of Realtor Institute); AHWD (At Home With Diversity); and FMS (Florida Military Specialist). But there's way more to me than just helping people buy/sell their dream homes: I also have an "adventurous" side! For "fun," I have participated in mud runs (Warrior Dash and Tough Mudder), raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Wounded Warrior Foundation. So, if I'll crawl through mud and jump over fires in my spare time, imagine what I'd do while representing you through your real estate transactions!!! I am also a member of a local comedy murder mystery troupe, Act4Murder, where I play characters ranging from a star-crazed teenager in the 1950's; a ditsy mayor; a business manager with a gambling problem; all the way to a struggling realtor (and many more characters in between). With my educational background and past work history, I bring to the table a strong work ethic, as well as an extremely strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and communication every step of the way--and of course an element of fun during what could not only be the most exciting, yet stressful time of your life.
