Being a real estate agent is my third career. After graduating from the University of Denver, I began a career in television. I worked my way up to being a television director, directing the news at a major market NBC station. While working there, I became interested in flying and I started taking lessons. I quickly developed a passion for it. I decided to become an airline pilot. It was a long road, but after eight years of flight experience, I reached my goal and became a pilot for US Airways, now American Airlines. At the time, there were only a few women pilots. After 20 years with the airline, I retired as a Captain on the Boeing 737. In both of my previous careers, relationships have been all important.
