About Karen

Karen has an extensive background in real estate with over 24 years of experience and a strong commitment to working with buyers and sellers for a win?win transaction. A Licensed Broker Associate whose career began in 1996 with East West Partners, (the developers of the Award Winning Communities of Eagle Harbor, Eagle Landing, & Rolling Hills), she has participated in hundreds of real estate transactions. Working closely with Clay, Duval, and St. Johns Top Builders, her knowledge of new home construction is vast. While at East West Partners, Karen created the resale and relocation division for previously owned homes. Though she grew up in Wakefield, MA, she called Fleming Island & Clay County home for 26 years. A 2016 move to Downtown St Augustine & a historic home renovation is occupying much of her current spare time. Karen is the proud Mom of a son who currently is employed in North Florida. Karen feels fortunate to be married to her best friend, a career Naval Aviator. She divides her personal time between the men in her life, boating, golfing, horseback riding, reading, & anything to do with the outdoors. With a bachelor's degree in Nursing and a prior career as a critical care and PACU nurse, Karen understands the stressors that buying and selling real estate can create. Karen has also become a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) through hours of study and training. The CRS Designation is the highest professional designation awarded to Realtors in the residential sales field. Fewer than 4 percent of all REALTORS hold the CRS Designation.
