About Bill

Bill Zetterlund, (Z) was raised and educated in New England. After college, he served four years in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps and then accepted employment with a construction company in upstate New York. His credentials were an electrical engineering undergraduate degree, a master’s degree in managerial accounting, and he was now a veteran. Within a few years, Z was promoted and relocated to Florida to run the southern division of the company, eventually becoming a partner. He obtained a Florida certified contractor’s license as well as a Florida registered engineer’s license. For the next 30 years he remained in construction, typically running construction companies. In 2000, he retired from the building end of construction and became a forensic construction consultant, inspecting, reporting upon, and testifying at arbitrations and in court relative to defective construction, as well as performing as a neutral evaluator and a member of dispute review boards. In 2017, Z obtained his Florida real estate sales associate license but it remained inactive until he retired from the consulting business recently. His lifelong interests included sports and working with his hands. Currently, he tries to play tennis six times a week.
