Born in Bowling Green, KY, and raised in Valrico, FL, Joe Pergola is a dedicated real estate professional with deep roots in the Tampa Bay area. A graduate of Bloomingdale High School and the University of Florida (Go Gators!), Joe later earned a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Binghamton University. Before transitioning to real estate, Joe taught college-level philosophy, including ethics, at Washington State University—a background that instilled in him a commitment to integrity, clarity, and client advocacy. In 2013, Joe joined his mother, Jayne Pergola—a top Tampa Bay Realtor with over 30 years of experience—on her team, learning the business from a seasoned professional. Since then, he has built his own successful career, serving clients across Tampa Bay, with a special focus on South Tampa, Brandon, Valrico, Riverview, and Lithia. Joe brings a unique approach that combines educational guidance with a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring his clients are informed at every step of the home buying and selling journey. Known for his creative problem-solving and ability to work seamlessly with other agents, he’s passionate about making transactions smooth and straightforward for everyone involved.
