A top producer at Coldwell Banker Realty, Totney workstirelessly for sellers and buyers across all price ranges, each of whom receives the same high level of superior service, unsurpassed integrity, necessary attention to detail, ensuring that they are well informed throughout every stage of the complicated real estate transaction. Because her fiduciary responsibility is always with her client, privacy, honesty and mutual respect are paramount. Totney has been involved in the real estate industry in a variety of capacities for over 35 years, the last 18 as a Realtor in Connecticut. She also works with her husband, HOBI Award winner, Rick Benson, owner of RB Benson & Co, a developer of single-family new construction in Westport, Weston, Fairfield, and Norwalk and condominiums in Fairfield County to create homes to meet a buyer’s most discerning needs. Her experience with new construction and renovations provides clients with a unique insights into the homes they are considering, as well as an offering a valuable resource for service providers. A resident of Fairfield County for over 44 years, Totney has an in-depth knowledge of the personalities and amenities in surrounding communities and loves helping clients identify the community best suited to their needs. She is co-founder and owner of Onion Hill Designs, LLC, a greeting card company focusing on designs of area towns. Her local community involvement includes working with Rotary International on numerous projects and international mission trips, Project Return (founder of the highly regarded Birdhouse Auction), Compo Beach Playground Committee, Westport Young Woman’s Club (Chairman of Creative Arts Festival), and many others. Totney received an MBA from the Wharton School in Philadelphia with a focus on Finance and Marketing. She worked for Touche Ross Consulting, General Foods, and The Nestle Company before becoming involved in Real Estate.
