About Colin

Colin grew up in Haddam, CT where he attended Haddam-Killingworth High School. He was a top competitor, receiving All-Conference recognition in both basketball and track and field as well as bringing home a state title with the cross-country team in 2012. Colin earned an Associate's degree in Broadcast-Journalism from Middlesex Community College in 2015 before joining AmeriCorps NCCC to travel the country and engage in community service projects. During his travels he conducted prescribed burns in the prairies of Minnesota, coordinated projects to enhance public school facilities in Chicago, and worked alongside FEMA to improve housing for members of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota among other projects. In 2017, he attended UConn to study Natural Resources and got a Bachelor of Science in 2020. While at the University of Connecticut he was selected to be a practice player for the Women’s Basketball team and trained against the team under coach Geno Auriemma. He participated in various student organizations including Chess Club, Poetry Club, Spring Valley Student Farm, and WHUS 91.7FM where he hosted a radio block on Thursday nights. After college, Colin began working for the nonprofit organization Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services in New Haven. He furnished apartments across the state for refugee families from Afghanistan, Haiti, Ukraine, and other countries as well as participating in a weekly food pantry providing food to refugees and community members until 2025. Most recently, Colin became involved with Brian House Inc. in Chester to serve adults with disabilities and help them develop independent life skills. Colin’s experience connecting people with housing inspired him to pursue a real estate license in 2026. He selected Coldwell Banker to join The Hometown Team and work with local experts in serving Haddam, Killingworth, and the surrounding towns.
