About Barbara

Barb Hazelton is a seasoned Broker and former sales agent with over 12 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate, currently acting as Manager for three offices that include Greenwich, New Canaan and Darien, CT to a roster of over 200 agents. Barb moved a lot as a young woman, living all over the country and is really adept at downsizing, organizing, and decorating. Fresh out of Miami of Ohio she worked in Chicago selling chemicals for Monsanto. A transition to media and production work brought her to NYC where she worked for Broadway Video and Telepictures. In time she became a recruiter for digital sales talent and eventually found her passion in real estate. She is actively involved in her home town currently serving as the Chair for the Zoning Board of Appeals. In the past she has also acted as Executive Member of the Darien YMCA, President of the Holly Pond Nursery School, 2018 President of the Darien Board of Realtors, a Manager for multiple Darien Youth Hockey Teams, and a Captain's Mom to a Varsity Hockey players. Because of her experience, she has amassed a wealth of resources that include contractors, painters, stagers, and inspectors, as well as unique insight to navigating the local town resources. On a personal note, she is the mother of 2 boys and 2 girls, raising them in Darien CT. She's also divorced and has used her knowledge and experience to create 80 videos that help others navigate the process of divorce on her website: www.thesingleprocess.com. And probably more important than all the experience and connections, she's really fun to work with. Although the process of selling a home can be intimidating and overwhelming at times, Barb makes it as pleasant and smooth as possible. In her current role as Manager in Greenwich, New Canaan and Darien, she now works through her agents to provide a full service and valuable experience to all Coldwell Banker Clients.
