About Steve

Biography Steve Burke has been a full-time, consistently top-producing Shoreline area Realtor for many years. As a second generation Realtor, Steve joined his father in the family business and never looked back. He is a lifelong resident of Connecticut and has lived in Branford for 50 years. During this time, he has sold everything from magnificent waterfront properties, to starter homes, to commercial properties. His knowledge of the local communities and surrounding Connecticut shoreline is impressive. He loves the business; and helping people achieve their real estate objectives is of paramount importance to Steve. Whether it is the first time home buyer, the growing family busting at the seams, or assisting seniors as they downsize, Steve is there for his clients every step of the way. He prides himself on providing first class service and building the rapport and trust that makes a client confidently refer others to Steve. Steve has been ranked in the Top 1% of area Realtors by the New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors, and has consistently earned the prestigious "Production Achievement Award". Among his other accomplishments, Steve has been recognized as a "Top 100 Realtor" for Customer Service by a National Relocation Publication, and was a past member of the Board of Directors for the Middlesex Shoreline Association of Realtors. As part of his commitment to the community, Steve has been an active member of the Branford Lions Club for over 30 years, and is a three time past president of the organization. The Branford Lions Club has embraced the challenge from Helen Keller to be "Knights of the Blind" by supporting the many worthwhile organizations that conduct research and provide services for those individuals with sight and hearing loss, diabetes and other diseases. He was instrumental in creating an annual Lions sponsored golf fundraiser for "Brian's Hope", in its mission to stop the progression of adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). He is also an avid gardener, and maintains a public garden that has been recognized by the Branford Garden Club, in memory of his father, David Burke, who was a well respected Realtor for nearly 50 years.
