About Tammy

Tammy Johnson was born and raised in the Northwest corner of Connecticut. Before attending college at Keene State in New Hampshire, Tammy hiked part of the Continental Divide for five months in 1985. During her time on this trip with a dedicated group of individuals, Tammy was taught the value of community, perseverance, and commitment. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Education/Art, Tammy pursued her teaching career in special education and has been an educator for over 27 years. She has spent 17 of these years teaching in the public school district of her hometown of Winsted. In addition to teaching, Tammy has raised two children in Colebrook, CT. During that time, Tammy volunteered on many committees for the town of Colebrook, including the elementary school's PTO. As she raised her family, Tammy received her Master's degree in Educational Technology from Central Connecticut State University. She currently resides in Barkhamsted, CT. Real Estate has always been a passion of Tammy's and she has enjoyed homeownership since 1994. Tammy recently became a realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty. Tammy is dedicated to working with her clients and is enthusiastic about being a part of the Coldwell Banker team.
