Erica has been a licensed real estate agent since 1999, and her niche market has been first-time home buyers, although she has experience in numerous different transactions.Erica was born and raised in Champaign, with a background of ten years of working in the legal field as a court clerk and a secretary to a real estate attorney. She was a member of the Champaign County Legal Secretaries´ Association for approximately four years. Erica attended Parkland College to get her required course work for her real estate license. She was employed as a closing agent for Coldwell Banker Devonshire from 1998-2000 preparing closings for approximately 45 agents in our office, being involved in hundreds of transactions over that three-year period. She was also involved in transactions from the lender´s and title company´s perspective by closing loans as an independent closer on a back-up basis for three title companies in Champaign, which lends itself to yet another angle on the real estate process.Erica is a member of the National, State, and Local Association of Realtors. She previously served as the Professional Development Chairman for Champaign County Association of Realtors, which chairs the Education, Designations and Risk Reduction, Equal Opportunity, and Special Projects Committees. She also served on the Governmental Affairs Committee.
