This Craftsman aspires to be Neoclassical. The inside moldings are particularly stunning. The moldings resemble columns supporting an architrave, which holds the tray ceiling. The tray ceiling is small as if it is made of stone and is open to the sky in the middle. This was exactly how many Greek and Roman temples were built. It can also be seen at the porch. It isn't a portico. The columns support the roof of the home. Again, this is a Neoclassical influence. The home is filled with natural light. It is a bright and sunny space. There are a lot of windows. The extra sunlight is also a nod to a classical feeling. This home is large for a two bedroom. The extra square footage is found in the large dining room, extra large living room, large kitchen (someone could easily add an island) and the laundry room. The home has been recently updated and has a section one clearance. All the water lines are copper. The roof is 3 years old. Much of the charm and sophistication of the original details have been preserved. It is a great home at a great price.
