Boasting decades of experience in real estate and deep roots in both California and Montana, Kirstin excels in navigating the complicated terrain of development, investment acquisition, property management, first home purchases, foreclosures, and more. Recognizing the importance of community, through her brokerage, Team Tahoe, Kirstin has consistently donated for over a decade to the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation with each transaction closed on behalf of each client involved in a transaction. Personal Background Currently, Kirstin splits her time between North Lake Tahoe and Truckee, and the Western Slopes of Montana where she also has an active real estate team and practice. When she is not with clients, Kirstin enjoys spending time playing outdoors with her family. The family can often be found adventuring in the mountains from trail running and skiing, to horseback riding and practicing with the soccer team, where Kirstin is a volunteer coach. Education and Training Kirstin attended UC Santa Cruz where she played for the women's soccer team all four years and graduated with a B.S. degree in Earth Sciences. Business Philosophy Kirstin began her career as a Geologist in the Bay Area until her love for the outdoors, the beauty of the mountains, and her desire for a 'year round' recreation community made her want to live full time in her favorite vacation spot. In 2006 Kirstin realized her dream and moved to Truckee where she became a licensed Realtor® and began her career. Kirstin's desire is for each client to feel that their experience is important and personal. Realizing that for most clients purchasing a house will be the largest and most stressful transaction of their lives, Kirstin tries to be the calm, reassuring voice taking each step of the sales and purchasing process seriously while trying to maintain a lighthearted approach.
