About Lorrie

Born and raised in Santa Cruz, Lorrie was taught to appreciate real estate early in life. Her father, Jimmie Palmos, partnered with Paul Pappas to open the Tip Top Coffee Shop & Paul's Bar, and he invested in residential real estate in the area. Her aunt was a real estate agent in the Oakland area, and also her cousin on the east coast. Inspired by her family, Lorrie developed a passion for real estate and obtained her license in the late '80s working until family became her main focus. Following the graduation of her children, and after investing in property in Nashville and Oregon, Lorrie's passion for real estate was reignited and she relaunched her career. About Santa Cruz in her words: "In addition to the Mediterranean climate that makes this area so desirable, there's such an abundance of interesting and wonderful treasures in Santa Cruz County that I can't begin to describe them all. As alumni of Cabrillo College and UCSC, I know the community offers outstanding opportunities in education. One can enjoy walking, hiking and biking miles of trails along our picturesque coastline or through the redwoods of the Santa Cruz mountains. Many of the natural wonders are wheelchair accessible, which enabled my mother to enjoy her later years. As a surfer and photographer, I feel like I live in paradise with access to world renown surf spots, and some of the most stunning, sunrises, sunsets and landscapes on the planet. In addition to the famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, people from all over come to experience the beauty of the state parks, the flavors of numerous coffee roasters, the waterfront and local eateries throughout the county...the list goes on and on. There's something for everyone here."
