Vicky and Dean represent clients in the neighborhood they’ve lived in for 17 years. They have the in-depth local market knowledge to help buyers find a home that meets their needs, whether they’re a first-time buyer or an empty nester. Fluent in both English and Tagalog, Vicky grew up in San Jose and is well versed in the area’s neighborhoods, schools and amenities. She comes from a family of residential investors who discovered the power of building wealth through real estate when they came to the United States. She and Dean are also seasoned investors. As a former architectural interior designer, Vicky has a well-developed artistic eye and spatial aptitude that help buyers envision the potential of a home and sellers prepare their home for listing. She offers insightful staging tips for sellers that allow their home to outshine the competition and secure maximum return on investment, and her market analysis and pricing strategies are spot-on. Dean’s engineering and project management experience empower him to understand a client’s goals and deliver results on time and within budget. He manages the transaction process with an eye on the details and schedule, tapping into his well-honed analytic skills. They are both at ease working with a variety of people, and their personality traits are the yin and yang of this successful relationship – while Vicky is high-energy, talkative, serious and future-oriented, Dean is easygoing, calm in chaos, analytical and known for his sense of humor. Vicky holds a BFA in Visual Arts from UC Berkeley. Following her sincere desire to serve, she was a missionary in the Philippines for two years after she graduated. Dean holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly S.L.O. and San Jose State, respectively. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and licensed engineer (PE). Vicky and Dean are active members of their church’s many community outreach programs, and they also support the International Justice Ministry and the City Team Ministry. In her down time, Vicky enjoys hiking, painting, writing poetry and playing the piano and ukulele. Dean plays piano, swims, hikes, rides his bike and bakes tasty pies that command top dollar at silent auctions.
