Honesty, Ethics, Integrity, Professionalism, and absolute straight talk are the core tenets of my business. While I love Point Loma, where I’ve made my home for 30 years, I also truly love Mission Hills, my home away from home (Metro Agent of the Year 2019!), I’m happy my business allows me the opportunity to list and sell throughout San Diego County. I work with everyone from Veterans using their VA benefits, to single mothers, to working families buying their first house, to clients seeking to buy and sell the ultimate in luxury homes. In addition to being a Certified Luxury Homes Marketing Specialist®, a Global Luxury Designated Agent, I am also a Certified Residential Specialist®, the highest credential awarded to residential agents, a designation earned by only 3% of agents nationwide. Born and raised on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, I grew up in the residential real estate business. Literally. My childhood home doubled as my parents’ real estate office. My sister Michele, a real estate broker on the East Coast, likes to tell clients that we were conceived in a real estate office. It’s true; we literally were. Both my parents were real estate developers and my two sisters and brother all had their licenses at one time or another. The family real estate business, M.E. Rockhill, Inc., was established in the 1930’s in Long Beach, MD. Real estate truly is in my DNA. Moving to California after graduating from Trinity College in Washington, D.C., I worked in commercial real estate and property management in Los Angeles until I moved to San Diego to manage and oversee leasing/asbestos removal/remodeling/tenant improvements and construction in a 500,000 square foot high rise Downtown. Eventually succumbing to the family residential real estate business in my blood, I started selling homes in 2005 once my son, T.J., was in High School at Francis Parker. I contribute to animal causes and women’s and children’s charities in addition to my professional volunteerism with the San Diego Association of Realtors® (SDAR) where I currently sit on the Professional Standards Committee (hearing cases that deal with Realtor® behavior), At the State level, I am a Director at the California Association of Realtors® (CAR) where I am the Regional Representative for Professional Standards as well as the Professional Development and Education Forum.
