About Jim

Biography The part of my job that I enjoy most is assisting my clients in not only finding their new home, but in also helping them settling in to a new community--whether it be a recommendation for a doctor or dentist, or in finding a contractor or handyman. I make sure to tell my clients that my job and our contact doesn't stop when they move into their new home. My professional experience over the last thirty-five plus years includes residential and commercial real estate, marriage and family counseling, financial planning and executive recruiting. It is interesting to note how each of these professional experiences assists me in relating to my clients’ emotional, financial, and real estate needs. I have always lived in the East Bay, and moved to Orinda in 1991. I have been married since 1983 and have 3 sons. I received my Bachelors from Berkeley, and Masters degrees in Real Estate and Financial Planning, as well as in Social Work. My community involvment has included coaching a variety of sports and since 1981 volunteering with a non-profit that works with hearing impaired infants and their families.
