About Mike

A native of Minneapolis, MN, I helped close friends relocate to the East Bay in 2010 and I have been a regular ever since! Licensed in both Minnesota and California, I now happily call Oakland home, but very much still love Minneapolis and get back frequently. I am well positioned to assist my Midwest cohorts in their relocation and also help others from not so far away discover, or rediscover, all that we have to offer in the East Bay. With lifelong interests in city planning and the urban environment, architecture, landscape architecture and development, real estate was a clear career choice to put the knowledge on those topics I have picked up over the years to good use. More than 10 years of professional experience in the hospitality finance industry has helped me with both the technical and social side of my real estate endeavors. Thorough and clear in communication, I am happy to guide you through the process of buying or selling, and act as your liaison between everyone involved to get the process completed...and hopefully have a good time doing it! I am all about injecting fun and great conversation into the process and building lifelong connections. It doesn't have to be all formalities and stress, and I love showing that to my clients.
