About Michelle

Michelle Cherry is a native Californian. Growing up in Santa Monica, she is familiar with living in some of the most beautiful places in California and has been living in Napa since 2003. She spent 18 years in Seattle, having graduated from the University of Washington in 1988 with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Sociology and then working in banking and finance for 16 years. As a previous AVP/Investment Advisor for a brokerage firm managing a $40 million dollar portfolio, she is versed in financial matters that affect people the most - retirement needs, short and long-term investment strategies, and goals related to financial freedom and comfort. Michelle has been a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Brokers of the Valley since 2006 and has learned the art of negotiating in tough economic and real estate markets. She is experienced, professional, calm in a stressful situation, and with a psychology/sociology background, can listen and assist her clients in remaining focused on the end result, whether that is purchasing the home of their dreams, or selling to make a change. Michelle focuses her expertise on Napa County but has a source for referral agents to assist clients anywhere. She continues to educate herself with each market change, adapting to the needs of the current environment to assist her clients to the best of her ability. She resides in Napa, enjoys wine, food, and travel and you can often see her walking Alta Heights.
