About Malissa

Born and raised in California, I worked in Oncology at California Cancer Associates for Research and Excellence for 7 years, however in 2019 I took a leap of faith and moved to Washington State where I began my Real Estate Career with Coldwell Banker. I hoped to follow my grandfather’s footsteps in Real Estate and eventually become a Property Investor. I have since returned to my home state to continue doing what I love. Being a part of Coldwell Banker Associated Brokers Realty has given me the opportunity to work with the best agents in Southern California, as well as across the globe with over 100 years of experience in Real Estate. Connecting with others, solving problems and serving those in need brings me joy and fulfillment. In 2006, I was a recipient of an award from the American Red Cross for Coordinating and hosting Blood Drives on my Highschool Campus in Valley Center, CA. In 2012, during my graduation from Kaplan College, I was awarded with both Presidential Honors and Perfect Attendance, as well as a Certificate of Accommodation from the Mayer of Escondido, CA for my volunteer services. Following my graduation, I was invited to join the Review Board for Medical Assistants where I reviewed curriculums, toured campuses and participated in the placement and hiring of new medical staff, which I continued to do so until I moved to Washington. Having a career in healthcare provided me with the training and skills needed to excel in any career. Delivering exceptional customer service, having difficult conversations, negotiating, reassuring, and keeping detailed records were only a few of the daily activities I was responsible for. During my career, I assisted with expanding the Nuclear Medicine and Imaging Department for California Cancer Associates for Research and Excellence, including opening a second location to serve North County San Diego patients. I am passionate about my community and hope to continue to serve and give back to all I encounter.
