About Kirsten

Kirsten Rames, a native of Mill Valley and a true local, is a second generation realtor. Her mother worked as a realtor in Mill Valley for over 30 years. Her father was a Southern Marin/Mill Valley firefighter. Staying local for college, she attended Dominican University in San Rafael. Kirsten’s love of working with people led to a 20-year career in outside sales and management within the wine and spirits industry. “I knew from the beginning that I didn’t belong in a cubicle; I needed to work with people in a fun and engaging atmosphere.” “Every day is different, I meet new people, hear their stories and fulfill their needs.” In addition, for the past 16 years she has served as a property manager for several family properties in Marin. She joined Coldwell Banker to further her real estate career with an established and well respected company in the real estate industry. Kirsten’s lifelong familiarity with all of the amenities of each city and town gives her the ability to find the perfect area for every client. “Having spent my whole life in Marin, I know this is such an amazing place to live. I have always felt so lucky to have been given the opportunity to grow up here.” In addition to family and community her passion is for animals. She has worked to rescue many animals, and with various animal rescue organizations. Rescue pets make the best additions to your life and family.
