Biography BACKGROUND IN REAL ESTATE INTERIOR DESIGN bull; Member of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and San Mateo County Association of Realtors and American Society of Interior Designers. BIO Samie Goodman has been helping local families and real estate developers buy and sell properties across the Peninsula for over 10 years. Samie is a Bay Area native, born and raised in Atherton, but now resides with her husband Mike in the Woodside Plaza Neighborhood of Redwood City. Samie joined Dwell/Sereno in November 2016 after being at Coldwell Banker in Menlo Park since getting her license in 2006. After her successful, fledgling year in real estate, she was awarded “Rookie of the Year” at Coldwell Banker, but she knew to really set herself apart and provide true value to her clients, Samie felt that this was not enough. She took a leap of faith and decided to leave real estate for the time being and pursue a degree in Interior Design from FIDM in San Francisco. The combination of her expertise as a Realtor and her eye for art, balance and color easily segued into her work as a designer. From 2013-2016 Samie worked along side John Nelson, a well-respected Redwood City agent and fellow Woodside Plaza neighbor. Together, John and Samie, worked closely with a prominent Bay Area developer and were responsible for approximately $40 million in real estate sales across the Peninsula. Projects included building new high end residential single family homes to multi-family units in areas like Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Carlos and Woodside. Samie has always had a fondness for real estate and architecture. She is not afraid to ask questions, provide solutions and remove obstacles when it comes to her client's needs. Samie blends her eye for design and an intensive knowledge of the Peninsula real estate market to exceed client expectations, and creates a unique and seamless experience for every buyer and seller.
