About Erik

Erik Weichelt, a Real Estate Professional since 1997, is the President and Owner of The Weichelt Group, Inc in San Diego and a Broker Associate with Coldwell Banker West in San Diego, California. Erik is personally experienced in a vast array of agency representations in Real Estate, including Residential, Commercial, Multi-Family and REO/Distressed properties. In his career to date, Erik has closed over 6,200 transactions in both Arizona as a Broker and California as a Broker Associate. In 1997, Erik co-founded Tri Palm Properties and became partner in San Diego REO, REALTORS. In 2006-2013, he was the President of Weichert, REALTORS-Elite which was ranked as the #1 Weichert, REALTORS franchise in the country. In 2011, Erik sold his Arizona Weichert, REALTORS-Elite franchise to NRT, Inc and became a licensee under their Coldwell Banker brand. In that year, Erik was ranked #7 nationwide (out of 256,000 agents) in units sold. In 2014, Erik sold his San Diego Weichert, REALTORS-Elite firm to Coldwell Banker West where he remains a Broker Associate and silent partner. In addition to his management and sales experience, Erik has volunteered his time and energy into the success and growth of the Real Estate industry in San Diego and California. Erik has been a President, committee and board member of The San Diego Association of REALTORS, board member and Chairman of Sandicor (MLS), board and committee member of The California Association of REALTORS and a board and committee member at The National Association of REALTORS. Erik has also taught many classes regarding the practice and execution of Real Estate for the San Diego Association of REALTORS, the Phoenix Association of REALTORS, Fidelity Title, First American Title and NRT, Inc.
