About Madeleine

My name is Madeleine Alonzo and I am the New Realtor on the Block. I call Union City home as that is where I grew up and recently just moved back to after living in the South Bay for over 15 years. Born in Guatemala and raised in California, I grew up knowing 1st hand what the American dream is to one day be a homeowner, as I saw it with my parents and years later with me. My bachelor's degree is in Advertising but I soon realized that my true passion and goal is to help others achieve their personal dreams and that is why I became a teacher for the past 20 years and now a realtor for Coldwell Banker. On a personal level, I have been a 1st time home buyer and recently just sold my house, and with both of these life changing experiences, I knew that I needed an agent who understood my needs and helped me each step of the way and that is what I want to do with my client base. To be a successful realtor you need to not only be well informed of the market but most importantly be able to connect on a personal level with your client to ensure that they feel heard, understood, empathized with and guided each step, as home buying and selling is an emotional process to go through.
