About Shira

Shira is the daughter and granddaughter of real estate professionals and grew up discussing blueprints at the dinner table. Her real estate career began in 2016, when she bought her first rental property. In the process, she gained a deep empathy for how overwhelming real estate transactions can feel; especially for first time buyers! In 2019, Shira left her career as a building energy engineer to pursue real estate. She is currently an associate with the Paul Wong Group at Coldwell Banker. Shira has lived in Oakland since 2014. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, crossword puzzles, and eating her way through farmers markets. She shares her home with her partner, 40+ house plants, and a rotating "tiny lending library" book collection.
