About Patricia

Professional Experience Pat Clayton: Real Estate Broker, Teacher, Manager, Friend With a background in teaching, Pat Clayton has been a part of the Coldwell Banker family for nearly 30 years. After a few years in the real estate profession, she took on the challenge to become the non-competing managing broker for our local Castro Valley office in 1991. Soon she became an expert in negotiating win-win situations for her sales associates. Later, when Pat switched gears back to being a full time real estate professional, she was able to take that acquired skill, along with the experience of overseeing legal compliance, supervising over 3500 closed sales, and maintaining excellent customer service, to be the successful Broker Associate that she is today. Her years of experience in the classroom has given Pat an appreciation for the art of learning. She is an advocate for client education and ensures that her clients have a complete understanding of the buying or selling process from the very beginning of their working relationship. "There is more to real estate today than the three magic words: location, location, location,” Pat says, “As a former teacher, I believe in the magic of client education, open and responsive communication, and attention to my clients' real needs.” Working with Pat is an exceptional experience. Not only do you have the expertise of a seasoned real estate professional, but you will be treated to her witty personality – and maybe even her amazing baked goods or fresh jam – each time you meet. When working with Pat Clayton, you have someone who will work tirelessly to ensure that your real estate dreams become a reality, “These are lifelong relationships. And we can even have fun along the way!" she says. When you are ready to make a big move, Pat Clayton is ready to make it happen for you!
