About Fred

Fred Herrman sells residential real estate in the southern Central Valley, as well as in the Los Angeles area. He focuses on the individual, working hand in hand with his clients to find the right purchases for them, and provides accurate value to owners who are preparing to list their homes for sale. Fred grew up in Studio City, California and attended the University of Southern California, with a major in psychology, and a focus on film and music. He worked in production at Walt Disney Feature Animation for a decade, as well as for DreamWorks Animation, and live-action film and television for several more years before moving into the world of real estate in Manhattan Beach, CA in 2006. He then joined a boutique brokerage in Burbank in 2010. In 2024, Fred joined the productive offices of Coldwell Banker Preferred, Realtors© in Bakersfield, CA, a fast growing community with great housing opportunities. Fred enjoys helping people prepare to list their homes for sale. He is an experienced residential real estate sales agent who has sold and leased many properties in Burbank, the San Fernando Valley, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and especially in the fast growing community of Bakersfield. He has experience renovating and re-selling properties as part of his personal investing portfolio, and having listed, marketed, and completed many sale and lease contracts for owners and renters, he is able to give the seasoned investor, as well as the first time buyer, insight into the current market. Fred excels in producing accurate pricing comps and provides a real picture of the real estate landscape to his sellers and buyers. And he is also able to assist those transitioning from larger cities in the Los Angeles area into Bakersfield and surrounding locales, giving his clients personal insights into the comparisons and contrasts of life in many communities.
